Considered
by many to be the “BEST
ALL AROUND LACROSSE PLAYER IN THE WORLD”, Jay Jalbert’s
accolades as a player are numerous (see below). However, his
uncanny ability to “TEACH” the game
is what has set him apart from many of his peers.
In 2006, Jay and US Lacrosse (the
national governing body of men’s and women’s
lacrosse) combined forces to produce the Coaches
Education Program. Through online videos
and instructional clinics, the Coaches Education
Program enables the sport of lacrosse to be taught
at a higher level throughout the country. The
beneficiaries of this program are the young coaches
and players willing to put in the time to learn
the techniques and skills necessary to succeed
in lacrosse.
Sportskool, a video on demand
cable program, is yet another tool for young lacrosse
players to learn the skills involved in lacrosse. Headlining
this program is Jay Jalbert. Not only did
Jay design and develop the itinerary taught on
Sportskool, but he also produced the television
program. You can catch Jay on Sportskool.com or
view a portion of the instruction on our web-site.

In 2003, Jay co-founded Xcelerate Lacrosse
Camps, and in 4 short years, has helped the
company reach its goal of becoming the “#1
instructional lacrosse camp in the country”.
With 17 summer camps spread throughout the United
States in 2008, young lacrosse players of all skill
levels and backgrounds are now able to take full advantage
of learning from the best players and coaches in the
game.
