How many years have you been coaching lacrosse?
I have been coaching lacrosse lacrosse roughly 8 years, 2 years in college and 6 years out of college!

What is your favorite camp drill/activity?
My favorite camp drill/activity would have to be the hardest shot. I love to see the players give it their all to have the fastest and hardest shot!

What do you find most rewarding about being a coach?
Getting to watch my athletes grow both on and off the field. It’s amazing to see the changes from freshman to senior year.

What is one of your favorite memories of being a coach?
Favorite memory: spring break’s with the team, pre-season work outs, and conference play games.

What is your most memorable experience playing the sport?
Playing in the Rose Bowl in California my freshman year and winning the A10 Conference championships later that year.

What is your favorite sport outside of lacrosse and how do you think knowledge/skills in that sport translate to lacrosse?
Definitely basketball – I love watching it to this day both defensively and offensively. It is so closely tied to our sport just on a smaller scale so I always pick up new dodge moves, ball movement and plays from this sport.

What do you believe are the most important characteristics of improvement?
Effort, coachable and grit.

What do you think is the most under-appreciated skill/ability in the sport of lacrosse?
Defensive footwork and slides.

What is your go-to Nike apparel/equipment?
My go to Nike gear would have to be loose gear Nike tank – it’s easy to move around in and looks nice for the spectators.
