Jay Lammers - Program Director

In his first season with Shaker, Jay lead the varsity team to the most successful season in program history, where the Raiders set a school record for wins and advanced to their best finish in the OHSAA Division 1 Playoffs. For his efforts Jay was honored with the Greater Cleveland Conference, All-Region and US Lacrosse Coach of the Year awards.

Before moving to Shaker, Jay was the head coach at Kenston High school for 8 years. At Kenston, Jay succeeded at building a program from the ground up, helping the school and the community establish a loving relationship with the game of lacrosse. In his nine years of being a head coach, Jay has amassed an overall record of 100-68 and has earned multiple coach of the year accolades, while training numerous Position Players of the Year, as well as All-Region, All-State & All-American award winners.

Prior to his head coaching career, Jay spent 4 years as a goalie coach and defensive coordinator for University School & Chagrin Falls High School; where those teams made 3 trips to the State Finals, winning 2 State Championships.

Before embarking on his coaching career, Jay was a goaltender at Ohio Wesleyan Univeristy where he graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics & Government. Jay also played locally at University School where he was an All-State, All-MSLA & State Championship winning goaltender in high school.
