Mo Gaitan

Gaitan is currently the head lacrosse coach at the prestigious Hill School, a boarding school located in Pottstown, PA. Prior to her arrival to the Pennsylvania community, she was at the helm of Concordia University – St. Paul for three years. While head coach at Concordia University – St. Paul, Gaitan spearheaded the program from scratch recruiting a complete roster from year one. A trailblazer, CSP Lacrosse was the first NCAA Division II program in a 600 mile radius.

Gaitan also comes from the international playing ranks with the Colombian National Lacrosse program. Gaitan played on the Colombian Women’s National Team in the 2017 Federation of International Lacrosse World Cup in Guildford, England. In addition to her NCAA coaching experience, Gaitan also has been a coach and mentor to the women of Colombia Lacrosse as a coach for the 2015 U19 World Cup hosted in Edinburgh, Scotland. Annually she travels to Colombia to run clinics and bring donated equipment all as a part of her role at the US Liaison and board member of Colombia Lacrosse.

A Minnesotan at heart, Gaitan served with Augsburg and was instrumental in building the first NCAA women’s lacrosse program in the state. In addition to her assistant coaching duties at Augsburg, Gaitan also lead the Lakeville North High School girls lacrosse team in from 2013 to 2015, leading the Panthers to a 2013 MSHSL Runner-Up finish, becoming the third team to reach the state championship since the MSHSL began the state tournament in 2007.

Before taking over the Lakeville North program, Gaitan was head coach at St. Cloud Technical High School during her college years (2009-12), and was a varsity assistant coach at Rosemount High School (2012-13).
