Rachel Perla

Perla replaces Noelle Brouillard, who spent the last two seasons as the women's lacrosse assistant coach. Brouillard left the program in June to accept the head coaching position at Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington.

Perla joins the Scranton women's lacrosse coaching staff fresh off a playing career at St. Bonaventure University.

In her three year career, Perla scored 53 goals and added 19 assists (a 72 point total) as an attacker/midfielder. Overall, she started 46 of the 50 games she played in as a member of the Bonnies, and served as team captain this past season.

Off the field, Perla was named to St. Bonaventure's Dean's List from 2015 through 2017, and also served as an intern for the women's lacrosse program in the Fall of 2015.

A native of Liverpool, New York, Perla served as a Youth Lacrosse League head coach in her hometown since May of 2016, and as a Recreation Coordinator for the Onondaga County Parks System. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Sports Studies from St. Bonaventure this past May.
