Assistant Coach

Scott Clark

Clark was on a pair of championship teams at Humboldt State before beginning his coaching career at California Baptist.

As a coach, Clark helped the Golden Eagles qualify for the CCAA Championship Tournament in 2016-17, compiling an overall record of 14-16, which marked a three-game improvement from the previous season.

Clark got his coaching career off to a successful start with two seasons as an assistant coach at California Baptist. He worked with head coach Rick Croy as the Lancers posted a 54-14 record while he was there. The Lancers reached the NCAA Division II Sweet 16 in the 2014-15 season and won the PacWest Conference Tournament Championship and reached the NCAA Tournament in 2015-16.

His responsibilities included player development, scouting and recruiting and he was the summer youth camp director.

Prior to attending Humboldt State, Clark played for two years for head coach John Peterson at Ohlone College in Fremont. He was part of two championship teams.

He grew up in Pleasanton, Ca and attended Foothill High School.

Clark, who is the son of a high-school basketball coach, completed his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at Humboldt State and his Masters in Sports Management at California Baptist.

Scott and his wife, Taylor, reside in Denver.
