Kathelene Kim Named First Women's Lacrosse Head Coach at Quincy University

San Rafael, CA - Quincy University Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Marty Bell announced the hiring of Kathelene Kim as the first Quincy University women's lacrosse head coach.
Kim comes to Quincy University after spending the last two seasons at Queens University in Charlotte, North Carolina. Kim helped lead Queens to the NCAA Elite Eight in 2017 and has coached a pair of All-Americans while at Queens.
Kim previously spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Lenoir-Rhyne University, including spending time as the acting head coach where she also coached a pair of All-Americans.
Kim is a graduate of Penn State University and received her MBA from Lenoir-Rhyne University.

It's been my dream to build a team from the ground up. As the first coach in program history, I will strive to maintain Quincy's academic vision while growing the program to compete at the highest level." Kim stated about her hiring.

The Hawks women's lacrosse team will begin NCAA competition in during the 2019-2020 school year.
Directing the Xcelerate Nike Lacrosse Camp in North Carolina at UNC Charlotte is Kathelene Kim. The former Penn State Abington standout and the new head coach Quincy University, Kim, will lead an All-Star cast of coaches this summer, June 24-27.
